GIVE ME A BREAK A new rocking musical Set in 1979, a rock & roll band aches to be discovered -- to rise above the local nightclub scene -- to perform their own songs, not just cover songs -- to be rock stars. When they finally get an opportunity to audition and get an offer from a "big-time" agent, the band members realize their respective dreams are irreconcilably different. But all is not lost, as each character has at last become clear on what they truly want from their music, their relationships and their futures.
