GHOST DANCER

By Robert Hecker

GHOST DANCER played in Theater Three at the Mint Space November 19, 2011 to December 11, 2011

In a community recovering from a bloody revolution, one woman emerges still fighting for freedom. Torn between her passion for justice and love of her family, Lakota Romero's actions could forever alter their history. Will her desperation lead to the liberation of a people, or leave them dancing on the edge of destruction?

“...in not being beholden to the history of any one oppressed people, it allows itself to speak for all oppressed [people everyone who rise up against persecution and iniquity"]
-Karen Tortora-Lee, the Happiest Medium
“Ghost Dancer” is a drama which needs to be seen. Its connection to Occupy Wall Street and the worldwide struggles for justice is spot on. This is a busy season however, do yourself a favor and be sure to see this engaging work in progress."

-David Roberts, Theatre Reviews Limited
